Delta Hotels by Marriott Warwick
The Delta Hotels by Marriott Warwick converted to one of Marriott's newest brands in November 2021, and set about a mission to change how traditional Food and Beverage is perceived.
The Delta Warwick was the 7th Delta Hotel in Europe, with a simple mission to offer a "Simple Made Perfect" experience for corporate and leisure travellers alike. Where Food is concerned, the leadership team have a huge passion for offering for offering the "bare maximum", and offering guests a best in class experience. Whether that is a great breakfast, a brilliant burger and beer in the bar watching live sport, or a fine dining experience in the Kingmaker this 180 bedroom hotel really offer a real complement of choices.
Our relationship with the Yummie Brummie (aka the Prince of Birmingham, or Glynn Purnell), started in September 2021, when the business appointed Glynn as our Food and Beverage Consultant, with a Proof of Concept Launch in Q4 of 2021. "It was a real learning curve for us" according to Peter Nye, the General Manager of Delta Warwick. "The biggest challenge for us was arguably ensuring we had the right Kitchen Team who were willing to learn new techniques, and cook a very precise way, and offering diners a real wow factor when it came to service and delivery, whilst ensuring our 40,000 breakfasts and our Delta Bar and Grill were also delivered well. The trial period went well, in the strangest of environments with the country battling the Omicron variant. That said, it worked well for us, as it gave us some additional time to ensure we got it right, and therefore made the decision to recruit a standalone leadership team for the Kingmaker, and reopen it under the stewardship of Signore Longobardi & Spinelli".
We cannot wait to welcome guests to The Kingmaker by Glynn Purnell.
